Determinants of wellbeing, decent living standards

PERSONAL PAGE

Lea Tamberg is a doctoral researcher at UNIL. Her research focuses on the socio-economic and biophysical prerequisites of human wellbeing. For the REAL project, she explores how wellbeing can be decoupled from economic growth by analysing intra- and international data. She also aims at quantifying energy and material constraints for degrowth scenarios based on decent living standards. Lea studied Applied Systems Science in Osnabrück before completing an MSc in Data Science at ETH Zurich. For her, degrowth is both a sensible response to the ecological crisis and a pathway to social justice.
