Kaan Onder

Kaan is a postdoctoral researcher at ICTA-UAB and holds a PhD in theoretical physics from the University of Cambridge. Within the REAL project, Kaan works on quantifying the material and labour needed to provide decent living standards for everyone on earth. In particular, his research focus is on understanding how much labour and material usage is required for a just transition which abolishes unequal exchange. For Kaan, degrowth research must go hand in hand with the radical political struggle necessary to implement it.
