Donatella_Gasparo

Donatella Gasparro is a PhD Candidate in Political Science & Sociology at the Scuola Normale Superiore, Florence (Italy), and a REAL collaborator within the “real-existing degrowth” research group. She works on critical agrarian studies, political ecology and materialist ecofeminism, researching subsistence socio-materialities in rural Southern Italy through engaged ethnographic methods. 

Donatella has a background in Agroecology (Wageningen University) and Political Ecology (UAB), and previously worked as a Research Associate at the Institute for Geography, University of Muenster (Germany), and a Lecturer at the Institute for Environmental Sciences, University of Leiden (Netherlands).
