Lorenz Keysser is a doctoral researcher at UNIL, and works on ecological economics and degrowth. He holds bachelor’s and master’s diplomas in Environmental Sciences from ETH Zurich, with a focus on environmental systems and policy. In his doctoral research, Lorenz revisits key theoretical debates in ecological economics and degrowth. These include questions on the social origins of the economic growth imperative, as well as its political and strategic implications for tackling social-ecological crises.
