PERSONAL PAGE

Dallas O’Dell will join REAL in October 2024 as a postdoctoral researcher at ICTA-UAB. As a doctoral researcher at LSE, she applies experimental methods from psychology and economics to explore the role of individual-level sufficiency practices in transformations towards degrowth. She also studies perceptions of degrowth policy proposals, especially for those with less power and privilege, which she will continue to work on for REAL.

Dallas holds a bachelor’s in Policy Analysis and Management from Cornell University, and an MSc and PhD (expected summer 2024) from the London School of Economics and Political Science. To her, degrowth means a world beyond capitalism, where all people and the planet are allowed to thrive.
